Brandon was born on June 4, 1972 in Asheville NC to parents Paula and Audie Allen.
He had many interests, loved his work and for the past 20+ years drove big trucks. He especially enjoyed the heavy hauls in the last few years before illness prevailed. The job took him to many parts of the US which he greatly enjoyed and he was an encyclopedia of information. Just ask anyone who knew him.
He had a big smile, a big personality and never met a stranger. He was an advocate for Prostate Cancer and special needs children, especially those with Epilepsy and Autism.
He loved God and family and he was ready to go to heaven where he is now at peace, happy and healthy. We rejoice in his ultimate healing even as we grieve that he is no longer with us, but we know we will see him again someday.
He is survived by his wife Beth, precious daughter Madison, his mother, Paula Taylor, special cousin, Kim Lively and many extended family members who loved him dearly. He was predeceased by his dad Audie, stepdad, James Taylor and his grandparents, James and Geri Allen and Cornelia Griffin, who were surely waiting to welcome him when he stepped into heaven.
Special thanks to Dr. Justin Favaro and the entire Oncology Specialists staff for the many years of compassionate care during this lengthy journey. We also thank the many caregivers in Novant Matthews Critical Care Unit and Novant Hospice in the final days. God bless each one.
We are so appreciative to our friends and neighbors who offered their prayers, love and support to our family...heartfelt thanks to all. We love you!
Matthew 28:11 Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden and I will give you rest.
