Mrs. Woods, 94, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016.
Born July 4, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY, Mrs. Woods was a daughter of the late Irving and Hortense Brown Fogelson. She was a veteran of WWII and worked at Pneumafil for thirty years. Following retirement, she returned to her artistic roots.
Her family includes two daughters, Ruth Woods and Barbara Freeman (Steve); nieces, Linda Berman, Anita Friedman and Linda Ellen Wilson; and nephews, Mark and Howard Fogelson; as well as a close family friend, Byna Beebe.
A service with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 30th from the graveside in The Hebrew Cemetery, 1801 Statesville Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Metrolina Association for the Blind.
