Bessie Hasty Vinson, age 80 of Gastonia, wife of the late John Vinson, passed away February 26, 2015 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. Born in Charlotte, NC on September 2, 1934, she was the daughter of the late James Bunion and Louise Helms Hasty.
She is survived by her sister Helen Reece of Charlotte, nieces Teresa Scott(Ken) of Charlotte, Shirley Burnette of Charlotte and Beverly Garrison of Charlotte. She is also survived by nephews Jerry Burnette and Steven Reece, both of Charlotte.
A graveside service will be held Monday, March 2nd, 2: 00 PM at Forest Lawn West Cemetery, Charlotte. Online condolences may be offered through www.forestlawnwest.com.
