Barbara, the most loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, is survived by her son, Richard, daughter-in-law, Krista, granddaughter, Isabella, and grandsons, Kohl and Jaxon.
Upon graduation from Midwood High school, Barbara started her career as lead singer in a band. Soon after, she met the love of her life, Henry Kassis, who she married, loved, and supported for the rest of his life.
Barbara had the personality and natural charisma to make friends no matter the situation. She was a truly great woman whose impact will be forever felt by her family that loves her dearly. She was a selfless woman whose passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of her loved ones. Her ability to sacrifice, support, and love will be forever engrained in all who knew her.
Details on a memorial service are soon to follow. We are still working out logistics with our North Carolina and NY Funeral homes, as we are bringing her home to reunite with her husband.
