Anne Regina Cassidy

Anne was born in Manhattan on February 21st, 1933 to Paul Vincent and Angela Marie Meenan Cassidy. She grew up in Garden City, Long Island and after graduating from Garden City High School, attended the University of Bridgeport. Back in Manhattan after completing her studies she worked as a copy writer. Anne’s next adventure involved pursuing a long and successful Real Estate career, starting in Manhattan and (after many choice moves around the country) finally ending in Charlotte, NC. She loved the high energy of the real estate business and excelled as an agent, gravitating to other parts of the country where the real estate market was booming. With many of her family members already living in Charlotte, Anne settled in North Carolina, establishing a successful real estate business in the Charlotte area. Using her love of animals as a catalyst for her ‘side’ business of pet sitting, Anne’s attentiveness and affection for the animals in her care put her in such high demand that she ultimately launched Pampered Pets and transitioned to that business full-time.

Anne is survived by her brother, Paul Vincent Cassidy and wife Carol; sister-in-law, Gretchen Cassidy; six nieces and two nephews; two grandnieces; five grandnephews; and two great- grandnephews across the country. She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul V. and Angela M. Cassidy; her brother, Peter Michael Cassidy; and her sister, Jane Meenan Cassidy.

A celebration of Anne’s life will take place on Saturday, December 16th, 2017 at 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm at Harry & Bryant Funeral Home, 500 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC 28207. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Anne’s life.
