Anna Dewese Miller

Anna graduated from Central High School in Charlotte, NC in 1949. She then attended Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing. She was an instructor of student nurses at Presbyterian the last 25 years of her nursing career. Anna was an active member of St. Francis United Methodist Church in Charlotte and a previous member of Central United Methodist Church in Charlotte.

Survivors include her sister, Doris Jane King; nephew, Kerry (Jennifer) King; niece, DeAnna (Neal) McCann; grand-nephews, Adam (Hope) King, Matthew King, Patrick McCann, and Connor McCann; and great-grandnephew, Howard King. She is also survived by special friend, Dave Adams.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Tony Mulea and Earl Miller.

The service to celebrate and honor her life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 14, 2023 in the Chapel of McEwen Funeral Home, 10500 Park Rd., Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends from 12:00-12:45 pm prior to the service. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park.
