Ann was born on June 2, 1933 to Percy and Maggie Dudney in Fair bluff, NC. She was the fifth of eight children and spent her childhood working the family farm. She married Frank Watts from Rowland, NC on July 7, 1950. Ann was a homemaker who raised three beautiful children. She also worked at Rexham Corporation for over 30 years and welcomed many families as the greeter at Waffle House for 34 years.
Ann is survived by her son, Fred and Cynthia Watts, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and sisters Doris Stansberry and Margie Lee.
Ann is preceded in death by husband Frank Watts, son, Jerry Watts; daughter, Patsy Tennent, and siblings, Horace, Alton, Earl, Arthur and Grace.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life gathering on September 24, 2022. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:30 p.m., with service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service, 4601 Freedom Drive Charlotte, NC 28208. Burial in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
