Ann Marie Patterson

Ann Marie Patterson, 86, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Charlotte, NC. She was born December 21, 1934 in Troy, NY, the daughter of the late John Andrew Bond, Sr. and Catherine Waters Bond.

Following graduation from Catholic Central High School, Ann Marie attended Siena College and began a career with the New York Telephone Company. She met the love of her life, Eugene Patterson, and they married in 1963. Ann Marie was a loving homemaker and wife for many years. Once her children were grown, she began a new career as a successful Realtor/Broker-Owner.

Ann Marie enjoyed reading, gardening, and volunteering at her church, where she had served in many capacities over the years, including co-chairing the Prayer and Worship, Repass, and RCIA committees with her husband, Eugene.

Surviving are her husband, Eugene Patrick Patterson, of Charlotte, NC; sons, John Patterson (Sharon) of Sierra Madre, CA and Joseph Patterson of Albany, NY; daughter, Mary Kay Connery (Rob) of Charlotte, NC; and her beloved grandsons, Drew Connery (Ann) of Greenville, SC, John Connery of Sierra Madre, CA, Matthew Patterson of Billings, MT, and Jason Patterson of Sierra Madre, CA.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 3016 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00-10:45 am. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn East Cemetery, Matthews, NC.
