Alice Lantz Looman

Born in Philippi, WV on November 5, 1937, she was a daughter of the late William and Edna Lantz.

She was a member of the Devonshire Baptist Church and had been employed as a planter/seeder at Baucom’s Nursery for 15 years.

Her husband, Venton John Looman preceded her in death of April 23, 1997.

Survivors include a daughter, Teresa Renfro and husband, Curtis with whom she resided, two sons, Kenneth Looman and Kevin Looman and wife, Lisa all of Davidson, NC.

Additional survivors include seven grandchildren, Crystal Sullens, Boyce Tallent, LaDonna Hedgegoe, Donna McKittrick, Brandon Allen, Clayton Campbell and Adam Stacks along with twelve great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.

Friends may visit 9 to 11 am Thursday, September 18, 2014 at McEwen Funeral Service-Derita Chapel, 6300 Mallard Creek Road, Charlotte, NC 28262.

Graveside services are planned for Noon on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at the Historic Salisbury National Cemetery, Government Road, Salisbury, NC 28144.
