I am entering this now because I don't think anyone else is viewing this anymore.  We had some good times and I will miss your "quick" calls.  I am getting thing done for you mom and John.  They miss you.  Fred is doing well but he really misses you.  I guess you are driving the folks up there bonkers by now.  I guess I will have a few years before we will see each other again.  As I am getting the house ready to sell I see some things that sadden me but then I find something that makes me smile (like the picture of you in a mullet,  what were you thinking???  So get some deals lined setup up there so when I get there we can get them signed and started.

I knew Alan back in the Vanstar days, always liked him and had a lot of respect for him. I am sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers will be with you during this difficult time.

John & Mom,  I am so sorry for your loss.  Alan was a good man and I will always cherish the good life he gave me.  We traveled all over and I will have so many good memories to carry me through.  I am glad to have been a part of your family and know we can always count on each other for support now and in the future when we will need it.  I am missing him so much as are you both.  I know he is in no pain now that he has begun his newest journey.  I love you both.

Al, Gunner and I became good friends in the short 2 1/2 years that I knew them both.

My two boy's "young men" also liked Al a lot, he once presented the "Un-Cut version" of The Wedding Crashers in his Theatre Room. I think that may have had a little something to do with it.

Al was outgoing and touched a lot of lives, in and out of the rooms. 

I know I will miss him and can't believe he is gone.

Alan got hold of me again about 2 years ago when he found out that my Dad died.  I remember the feelings of the lose of Dad, but I can not imagine how it feels for you.  Take care.

 We are so sorry for your loss. We were fortunate to have Alan as our neighbor and we always talked to Gunner when he spotted us across the street. Al was a great guy.  We lived together back in the "Ranch" days.  We had too many good times to count.  He will be truelly missed by many.

I am utterly shocked at Alan's sudden death. He was my Celanese sales rep when he was with Unisys and Inacom. We shared many good times together in our travels and work related experiences. Both of us loved the Cowboys and Panthers. My condolences go out to his family and closest friends.

He helped us move our daughter out of our home and get ready to move her to college. You have our heartfelt condolences; you are in our thoughts and prayers. He was truly a great guy!

My deepest sympathies are with the McEntee Family during this difficult time. Al and I were High School classmates and had only recently reconnected this past summer.

- I love you Al, my one and only brother. We shared some great times together.

Al was my roommate at our first "real" job in July 1990 in Atlanta, GA.  We spent weeks under pressure (they fired 10% of the class every week!) and became fast friends.  
He was responsible for me moving to Charlotte, buying a Shea house (loved his) working at Vanstar, getting a chocolate lab (even though I hated the cowboys - he forgave me).  Al was unique.  I knew he was suffering but he would ask me about my diabetes and compare notes.  He was a gentle soul - truly a life is "half full" guy.   I will pray for Alan and your family.  I lost my dad, my brother and too many friends.  They have a good man to keep them company.

I cannot express my sadness enough for the loss of Alan.  I had the great pleasure of working with Alan in the late 90s-2001, and am proud to say I knew him and considered him my friend.  My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

My heart is filled with sadness at your loss of  Al. I can not imagine the pain you feel now but I wanted to let you know that my family’s loving thoughts are with you. 

Even though Al and I were distant cousins and just reunited; I can only say how much my heart breaks in not being able to take the path in uniting with Al as my cousin.

I still remember us as children, in the moments of time we spent together as family and reminisce over pictures.
