Adrienne Celeste DeLorenzo Visneaskus was born on February 12, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Mario and Blanche DeLorenzo. At 18, she met her beloved husband, Daniel Joseph Visneaskus. On what would be one of the happiest days of her life, Adrienne and Danny we wed before God in Holy Matrimony on January 23rd, 1965. From this blessed union, four beautiful daughters were born.
With her husband a Naval Officer, they lived a Military lifestyle. Over the next four years, they were stationed in Memphis, TN and San Diego, CA, eventually returning to Brooklyn. They purchased their first home in Staten Island, NY and then within a few years, made the move to the Long Island Suburbs.
Adrienne loved being a homemaker and had a talent for decorating. In her later years, she was a quite accomplished self-taught baker. She dreamed of having her own shop called Manna’s Bakery. She also was a talented writer and proofreader. After she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ in 1980, she enjoyed Bible Study and hosting care groups in her home. She went on to become a computer teacher at Upper Room Christian School, an accomplishment she was very proud of. The children that were under her tutorage have nothing but fond memories of Mrs. V.
Moving to Charlotte ten years ago to be close to her family was a dream come true. Adrienne lost her beloved Danny in 2005, but knew she would be with him again in Glory. Adrienne leaves to cherish her memories her only sister Olivia, four daughters Dina, Lisa, Christine and Danielle; a son-in-law, Bobby; Fifteen grandchildren and great grandchildren Elaina, Adrianna, Nicole, Nathaniel, Nancy, Christopher, Tiarra, Joshua, Janay, Aaron, Lorenzo, Jeremiah, Chasity, Gianna, Brandon Jr.
