Billy was predeceased by his loving wife, Barbara Jean Rauch and longtime friend, Nell Lindler. Also predeceased by his granddaughter, Lyssa Rauch; grandson, David Michael Rauch and his 11 brothers and sisters.
Surviving is his daughter, Janie Elizabeth Westphal (Paul); son, Charles O’Brian Rauch (Donna) and granddaughter, Helena Grace Jean Rauch as well as many nieces and nephews.
Billy was known by many and always had that bright smile.
He was a member of Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church in Chapin where he served the Lord in cemetery committee planning and church council. He was a lifetime member of the Little Mountain Masonic Lodge #281, Little Mountain Order of the Eastern Star #276, Dutch Fork Chapter of the Genealogical Society where he served as President for many years, Telephone Pioneers, and a retiree of Southern Bell/AT&T. He was a US Navy Seaman 1st Class in San Francisco, CA.
Billy will be missed by many.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Mt. Horeb Lutheran Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel.
