Timothy Jacob Chapman

Timothy “Tim” Jacob Chapman, of Little Mountain, age 63, passed away peacefully at Lexington Medical Center surrounded by loved ones on July 30, 2024. He is survived by wife, Susan Forrest Chapman; son, Jacob Chapman; daughters, Elise Herod and Callie (Darné) Chapman; brother, Kenneth (Alice) Chapman; sister, Kim (Cliff) Harmstad; father, William Chapman; and 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by mother, Martha Chapman, and brother, George “Pudge” Chapman.

Tim was born on December 18, 1960 in Sherman, TX. After living in several locations due to his father’s military career, they resided in Saluda, SC.

He was a devoted husband and father and dedicated employee at Georgia Pacific Corporation- Plywood of Prosperity, SC and member of Chapin Baptist Church. Tim loved cooking, being outdoors, and his Clemson tigers.

He strived to bring joy to others, whether it be through making music or cracking jokes. If he wasn’t spending time at home with his family he could be found hanging out with his buddies.

Tim Chapman’s warmth, wisdom, and the joy he brought to every gathering will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure or knowing him.

A memorial service in honor of Tim will be held at 3:00 PM on August 11, 2024 at Chapin Baptist Church, 950 Old Lexington Hwy, Chapin, SC 29036.
