Ruth “Lucy” Bailey Lindler, 95, of Irmo, SC passed away on December 25, 2021. She was born in Browndale, GA on September 14, 1926. Ruth was the daughter of Richard Franklin and Levin Rigsby Bailey.
Lucy was a member of St. Andrews Road Church of Christ. She loved her friends, family, and adored her great-grandson, Graham. Lucy enjoyed quilting, painting and gardening.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Lindler of Chapin; son, Rick Lindler (Shirley) of Irmo; grandson, Clint Lindler (Traci) and great-grandson, Graham. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred Lindler and eleven siblings.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Bush River Memorial Gardens, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29212 with visitation to follow in the Mausoleum Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southeastern Children’s Home, 115 Childrens Way, Duncan, SC 29334.
