Richard Carl Shealy, 83, passed away on July 19, 2024. He was born on December 22, 1940. He retired from Columbia Glass Company. When he was not working, he enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, & shrimping.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Earline Shealy; his two sons, Micheal (Susie) Shealy & Kenneth (Karen) Shealy; grandson, Jeremy (Stacy) Shealy; great-grandson, Jackson; and step-great-grandson, Brantley.
Richard was predeceased by his parents, Carl and Polly Slice Shealy and his sister, Norma Driver.
A visitation will be held for Richard from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, July 22, 2024 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home – Chapin Chapel, 123 Columbia Avenue, Chapin, SC 29036. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at St. Jacob Lutheran Church, 844 Columbia Avenue, Chapin, SC 29036, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
