Justin M. Lett

Justin was born on July 22, 1978. He is the youngest of two boys born to Sandra Bishop Tant (Ray) and Robert Eugene Lett “Gene”. As a young man, he worked on the family farm in GA. He loved animals and raised ducks and chickens for the 4-H club. He liked karate and drawing. He loved watching movies and documentaries, playing guitar, skateboarding and listening to heavy metal. He was passionate about his family and fishing.

Justin attended Haralson County High School and later received his GED from the University of West Georgia. He also took courses at Midlands Technical College and Piedmont Technical College.

Justin worked at Constantia Blythewood LLC for 20 years. He also worked at Kiswire Inc. (Newberry) and Verizon/Cellular Sales (Beltline).

Justin is survived by his longtime significant other, Brandi Meetze. He is also survived by his son, Brendan Allen Phelps, age 23 (Marina); and his daughter, Gracen Skyler Meetze-Lett, age 17; his brother, Denver Lett (Laura); as well as other extended family in Georgia. He had many friends all around the world.

All who knew and loved him are welcome to join us in honoring him in a Celebration of Life/Farewell Potluck gathering that will be held at Hewitt Pavilion located behind Chapin Baptist Church at 950 Old Lexington Highway, Chapin, SC 29036 on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. (Note: The church’s guidelines prohibit alcohol on the premises.)
