To be in the presence of Hazel Grace Richardson was to know the peaceful presence of God. She will never be defined by her physical limitations and challenges in this world, but by God who created her thriving and beautiful spirit. The strength and peace in her pretty blue eyes, perched above her perfect little nose, were only the covering for her radiant and everlasting soul. We were only afforded a glimpse of her spirit, yet this warrior princess of the King lives on in God’s Grace and continues to impact so many in her small, quiet, yet powerful way. Hazel Grace is freed from the restrictions of this world. She is running and laughing and singing with her big sister in the presence of Jesus Christ. We will run and laugh and sing with her again one day as a family. We pray you know the hope that we have from Christ, a hope that is the middle name of our treasured daughter - Grace.
She is predeceased by her sister, Alexis Hazel Richardson and her maternal grandparents, Henry and Delores Wielkie. She is survived by her parents, Eston and Karee Richardson; her paternal grandparents, William and Ronda Richardson as well as many family and friends.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13 NIV
