Harold "Danny" Campbell

Danny was a devoted husband, father, son & TBD (Grandfather). He was a long time employee of The University of SC as the Supervisor over the high voltage crew. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, hunting, fishing and spending time with Tammy at night sitting on the back porch looking for deer and talking about the events of the day.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy, of 31 years; son, Timothy (Rene) and granddaughter, Amelia, the apple of his eye. He is also survived by his parents, John D. & Thelma Campbell of the Cayce; father-in-law, Carroll T “Buck” Lindler of Chapin; sisters, Brenda Singletary of West Columbia and Diane Brigman of Cayce; brother, Kevin (Melanie) Campbell of Gaston SC; brothers-in-law, Rodney (Julie) Lindler, of Peak, SC and Claude (Angela) Baggott of Little Mountain, SC, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Oneita Lindler; brother-in-law, Tim Singletary; brother-in-law, Dean Brigman, and grandparents.

A visitation for Harold will be held Friday, August 18, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel located at 123 Columbia Avenue, Chapin, SC 29036. A funeral service will occur at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 900 Dreher Island Road, Chapin, South Carolina 29036. A burial will follow at the church cemetery.

The pallbearers will be Claude Baggott, Brent Baker, Brent Corley, Noel Lindler, Zachary Baggott and Seth Baggott.
