Frank L. Branham Jr.

Frank (FL) Leonard Branham, Jr., 80, born on August 17th, 1943, in Columbia, South Carolina, passed away on September 24th, 2023. He was the son of the late Frank Leonard Branham, Sr., and the late Mary Elizabeth Carman Branham.

FL was a lifelong metal worker and owner/operator of F L Branham Sheet Metal. Whether deer, rabbit or fox, FL was an ardent houndsman who enjoyed acquiring hounds throughout the Southeast and hunting his packs in the Midlands and Lowcountry of South Carolina.

FL is survived by his wife of 58 years, Linda Cannon Branham; three sons, Troy Branham (Margie), Heath Branham (Julie), and Brady Branham; six grandchildren, Christina Adkins (Ian), Mary Branham, Drew Branham, Libby Branham, Brady Branham, Jr., and Sydney Branham; sister, Carolyn Carnaggio (Joe); brother, Mike Branham (Linda); brother-in-laws, Gene Hornsby, Jimmy Cannon, Randy Cannon (Becky); and sister-in-laws, Shirley Nix (Bill) and Margaret Cannon.

He was preceded in his death by his sisters, Marilyn Branham, Joyce Hornsby, and Teresa Branham; and brother-in-law, Ronnie Cannon.

Visitation will be held for FL at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel located at 123 Columbia Avenue, Chapin, SC 29036 on Tuesday, September 26th, 2023 from 5:30-7:30 PM. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 27th, 2023 at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, 11733 Broad River Road, Chapin, SC 29036, with a burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Reverend Dr. Linda Anderson will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Mike Branham, Jr., Larry Bunnell, Ronnie Cannon, Ricky Cannon, Jonathan Cannon, Tony Carnaggio, Gary Carnaggio, and Chris Hornsby.

The Branham family greatly wishes that memorials be made to Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church’s Good Samaritan Fund, 11733 Broad River Road, Chapin, SC 29036.
