Born in Pomaria, Floriede was born November 19, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Edron Oras Ringer, Sr. and Eunice Elberta Eargle Ringer. She was a dedicated member of St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church and truly cherished communing with her church family. Throughout her life, Floriede fondly recalled her time working at GE, Ellett Brothers and Baptist Medical Center and the lasting friendships she established. She was affectionately called “Mema” or “Grandma” by countless colleagues and family friends because of her generous heart and sweet, welcoming smile.
Floriede was predeceased by her husband, Dan Lindler; her oldest son, Oneal Lindler and his wife, Wanda; and her oldest brother, Edron O. Ringer, Jr. and his wife, Janet.
She is survived by her son, Donnie Lindler (Beth); brother, Ralph Ringer (Betty); grandchildren, Danny Lindler (Wanda), Stacy Budzichowski (Greg), Brooke White (Pete) and Josh Lindler (May); great-grandchildren, Kyle Lindler (Leslie), Asha Lindler, Vash Lindler, Mason White, Shea White and her great-great-granddaughter, Faye Lindler.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Chapin Chapel, 123 Columbia Avenue, Chapin, SC from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church, 844 Columbia Avenue, Chapin, SC with interment to follow service in the church cemetery.
