Betty worked as an administrative assistant for General Electric and Phillips Electronics. She was a very active member of St. Thomas Lutheran Church, where she was a member until she passed. She was an avid Clemson fan. Betty was full of love for her family and friends, loved living at the lake, and enjoyed cooking delicious meals for those she loved.
She is survived by her son, Michael Lindler (Kerry) of Fort Mill and daughter, Gayle Hocker (Don) of Laurens; grandchildren, James Lindler, Philip Lindler, Michael Hocker, and Kathryn Hocker; great-grandchildren, Abby Lindler, TJ Lindler, Ella Lindler, Christopher Lindler, Michael Lindler, Alex Lindler, Ford Hocker, and Elizabeth Lindler; brother, Billy Voyles (Sandra) of Seneca; brother-in-law, George Lindler; as well as several nephews and nieces.
In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Lindler, a sister, and numerous brother and sister in-laws.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at St. Thomas Lutheran Church Cemetery, 215 St .Thomas Church Rd, Chapin, SC 29036. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the service.
