Anitra “Neat” Marlene Molusky (Pucci) of Chapin, South Carolina, peacefully passed away on December 27th, 2023, in Columbia, South Carolina, at the age of 73. Born in Wheeling, WV, Anitra graduated from Triadelphia High School in 1968, embarking on a dedicated career journey that shaped her into the woman we celebrate today.
Anitra commenced her professional journey as a desk clerk for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel and steadily ascended the corporate ladder, achieving the esteemed position of Plant Controller at Allenport Works. Simultaneously, she embraced the role of a devoted mother, raising three sons with the late Robert Pucci of Wheeling, WV. Anitra's commitment extended beyond her home, as she served as co-president of Soroptimist of Wheeling, advocating for the empowerment of women and girls to pursue their dreams.
The chapters of Anitra's life took a joyous turn when she met and married Ray Moluski, finding true happiness in his company during their retirement years. Their relocation to South Carolina brought contentment, surrounded by a community of loving and caring friends in Chapin. Anitra's roots remained a vital part of her identity, demonstrated through her unwavering loyalty as a lifelong Mountaineer and devoted Steelers football fan.
Anitra is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ray Moluski (2023), and her parents, Gunther Frederick Hempelmann and Margaret Eileen (Moore) Hempelmann, both of Wheeling, WV.
She is survived by her three sons: Dr. David (Adrienne) Pucci of Billings, MT, Adam Pucci of Wheeling, WV, and Mark (Tania) Pucci of Jeanette, PA. Her four siblings Gunther F. Hempelman, Jr., Mark E. (Barb) Hempelman, Margra (Pete) Connor, and Fritz (Debbie) Hempelmann. Anitra's adoration extended to her three cherished grandchildren: Jacqueline, Everett (David), and Scarlett (Mark).
Anitra will be remembered for her unwavering loyalty, infectious smile, and great sense of humor that brightened the lives of those around her. To honor her memory, visit with your neighbors, have a laugh with your friends, and be present in the moment you have right now.
