Thomas Medlin, 68, passed away unexpectedly on February 28, 2016. He is survived by Karen, his wife of 37 years, and three brothers – Keith of Circle Pines, MN, and Dave and Dan, both of Portland, OR. He will also be missed and remembered by his many other family members and friends.
Tom grew up in Arden Hills, MN. After working in the brokerage industry for 33 years he retired in 1999, and split his time between homes in Chandler, AZ and Grand Marais, MN.
Tom loved the outdoors, and especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, and canoeing in the North woods of Minnesota…but his real passion was golf, and he never passed up an opportunity for a round with his friends. Tom’s golf skills continued to improve over the years and this year he was very proud of his first-ever score of 37.
Tom had a soft spot in his heart for abused and neglected animals. Karen requests that in lieu of flowers you consider a donation to Friends of Animal Care and Control of Phoenix in Tom’s memory (www.azfriendsofanimals.org ).
