Thinking if you today Taylor and miss having you here with our family but you will be in our hearts forever!  By the way, I still HATE green beans!!!

My son, Nathan, was best friends with Taylor in kindergarten, I have many great memories of those two playing together. So sorry for your loss. Lynne

Taylor will be so missed by so many. We weren’t super close but we were in the same friend group in high school when I was a senior and he was a sophomore, so he is in most of my memories and photos from that year. We had such a special group of friends; we had unforgettable times in band together and many of us still spend time together whenever possible. When I think of Taylor I remember him smirking in a fedora. He was sweet and sassy and so much fun. I was thrilled when he and Courtney got together, they make such a great couple. My condolences to his family and all those that love him. Rest easy, my friend. 

Taylor and I were inseparable.  My name's Trevor. His name's Taylor. Put us together and nobody could say our names right. I do apologize for that. Thinking about what to write, I feel as if there is just an endless well of good things I can say about Taylor, Bailey, Whitney, Hunter, and Mr and Mrs. Zeldin. If I wasn't at my house, these were the people I wanted to be with.  

 I have a lot of memories I wanted to leave here but they are not in any order. 

I remember when he started to listen to Panic at the Disco and started rocking a fedora. I remember when Bailey and I would stay up while Taylor would fall asleep during sleep overs. This happened so often. I remember walking with him during what must have been Gilbert Days after his operation and getting yelled at by the Mrs. Vant Hof so he ran the last leg in pain to avoid telling her it hurt. I remember when Mrs. Zeldin would leave and the boys terrorized her house. I remember when Mr. Zeldin gave us a CD that forever changed our lives. The two songs that we were obsessed with were "Can't Stop" by Red Hot Chili Peppers and "You gotta keep em separated" by The Offspring. The latter became a song we would sing among ourselves well into jr. high. I remember learning trumpet with him and becoming obsessed with our first cool song "Jammin' with Charlie" with the Sanborn Jazz ensemble. I  remember critiquing our jazz solos and fighting for first chair together. I remember learning how to date girls in jr. high school with Taylor as he was the only confidant I had about what the hell we should do or say. Taylor Zeldin was a hot commodity back then too. By the girls, he was rated hottest boy in our class. I was third. I know he liked that.  I remember a time where hot topic and bronze tips was a thing. I remember walking and daring each other to order frappuccinos that had coffee in them even though we knew our parents probably wouldn't approve.  

I just wanted to say I love Taylor. He was the greatest best friend.


I never met Taylor, I knew him through my son Ryan Guyre.  Ryan always spoke highly about Taylor as a co worker and more importantly as a friend. He shared with me how they golfed and lunched together. When Taylor got sick my heart broke for my son and Taylor’s family. He told me Taylor was fighting every step of the way. I prayed constantly for Taylor and his family then for his new bride.  I was lucky enough that Ryan and Hannah included me in the friend parade they did for Taylor. It was so emotional and so touching and humbling to see how much this amazing young man was loved by so many. When Ryan called me yesterday I had to pull over and cry for the loss his family and wife are feeling now. Mostly I pray and know God in his mercy has Taylor in a place where he suffers no more and has a life of peace. Remember the good times and keep him in your heart and he will always be a part of all of you who were so lucky to know Taylor❤️🙏🏻
