On Sunday, May 10, 2020, Taylor Nicholas Zeldin, loving husband, son, brother and friend passed away peacefully at the young age of 28. Surrounded by his family, he gracefully left this earth to be with his Father in Heaven after a long, courageous battle with colon cancer. Taylor was born November 12, 1991, in Phoenix, AZ, to Glenn and Debbie Zeldin (née Stevens). On May 10, 2019, he married Courtney Zeldin (née Gates) and they celebrated their reception surrounded by family and friends in March of this year. They had two dogs, Lacey and Mia.
Taylor loved making family memories, including relaxing camping trips to northern AZ, and highly competitive game nights. He had a strong love for Mustangs, and was a valuable member of the Arizona East Valley Mustang Club. His love of cars lead him to a career as a dedicated Assistant Manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. He was a member of the Chandler High and ASU marching bands, and an avid fan of ASU Athletics and Philadelphia Eagles football. He loved to read and was a self-driven person, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Geography from Arizona State University in 2016. Taylor had a very generous heart and a selfless personality. He was a quiet soul who was passionate about his music.
Taylor was preceded in death by his uncle Brad Zeldin and his Pop-Pop Barnett Zeldin. He is survived by his wife Courtney, his parents Glenn and Debbie, his brothers Bailey and Hunter, and his sister Whitney (Kaden) Wilkerson. He also leaves a family of grandparents, uncles, aunts, a nephew and numerous cousins who will hold his memory forever in their hearts.
Visitation services will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2020, at Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery in Chandler, AZ, where the family will greet friends from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. A private family funeral service will be held on Monday.
