Susan A. Gomez, 62, passed away June 21, 2016. Born December 15, 1953 in Tucson, Arizona. Preceded in death by her mother, Aurelia G. Altamirano. Survived by loving husband, Robert M. Gomez; son Robert Michael Gomez (Amanda); twin daughters Andrea Somerville (Nick) and Michelle Gomez; grandchildren, Olivia, Teyo and Santino Gomez, and Landen Somerville; father, Joe T. Altamirano; siblings, Joseph Altamirano (Frances); Rozanne Canizales; and Janet-Jo Leyva (Jerry).
Susan was married to her best friend and love of her life for 40 years. She graduated from Pima College with an associates of art degree and loved traveling across the United States with her family, visiting over 40 states, and going to Europe. She was a great wife, mother and nana who adored her grandchildren, loved to host family events, decorate for Christmas, and cook big meals. Susie was a Eucharist minister, who had a tremendous amount of faith, and was an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be missed greatly.
