Priscilla Ofori-Kyei, 55, passed away on February 17, 2024 in Chandler, Arizona, USA, after complications due to illness. Priscilla was a registered pharmacist who had a gift for serving others. For more than 20 years, Priscilla worked as a pharmacist in Arizona and established a medical equipment and supplies business in her native Ghana (West Africa).
Priscilla was born in Kumasi, Ghana on December 8, 1968 to Augustine Kwame Benfi Asare and Christiana Akosua Addai. She completed her primary school education at St. John's Preparatory School in Accra and her secondary school education at Holy Child School in Cape Coast. Priscilla graduated from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
In 1996, Priscilla met Mark Ofori-Kyei while she was recovering from surgery in Phoenix, Arizona. The two became friends and started dating. They were married on June 1, 1996 in Glendale, Arizona. Priscilla earned her Arizona certification as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) in October, 1996. She worked 18 years as a Staff Pharmacist for Walgreens Corporation . She was also a Registered Pharmacist in Ghana. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish Primark Medi Company Ltd to provide medical equipment and supplies to healthcare facilities in Ghana.
Priscilla was an epitome of love. She loved unconditionally and part of her never-ending legacy is the love we all felt from her and the love that we will continue to feel.Let her memory be a source of comfort for us all. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Mark Ofori-Kyei, and her two daughters Christina and Chelsea.
