Paula Annette Henderson, age 56, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2021 in Mesa, AZ after a courageous fight with breast cancer. Born July 7, 1965 in Greenville, MS to Annie Williams and Elmore Byars. She was a 1983 graduate of Greenville High School, with a 4 year full academic scholarship. She attended Mississippi Valley State where she was a member of the cheerleading squad. Paula went on to receive her Master's degree in 2001. She worked as a Project Manager for Boeing Corporation, displaying a wonderful knack for solving problems and organizational skills.
Paula truly lived life to fullest by traveling, physical fitness, and overall enjoyment of life, but most importantly she loved GOD. She welcomed every situation with "I TRUST GOD" and "GOD'S GOT IT".
Paula and James met through online dating in 2007 and married on January 22, 2016 in Tacoma, WA. They relocated to Phoenix, AZ in 2018. Given her love of the outdoors, she was excited to live in Arizona where she could enjoy nice weather year round that allowed her to keep active with interests she loved, including hiking and running. The love she had for traveling and health, ultimately led her to start FAB50
Travel and FAB50 Focus. She was a strong advocate of helping others living a healthy lifestyle, as well as helping others experience the joys of vacationing.
After being diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer, she started her will to fight and really started "living her best life". She was motivated by her why's (her grandchildren). Her passion became helping others going through a similar journey as she was. She started telling her story, with hopes it would inspire others to push through, keep going, and stay focused on GOD.
Paula and James loved to spend time traveling, working out, bowling, and golfing. Their life has been the blueprint of how to be empty nesters today. She had the ability to reach people in a deep and positive way and she was loved by many. She will be missed by a host of family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Annie (John) Lewis; father, Elmore Byars; grandparents, Estella (Alex) Williams; and sister, Barbara Ann Williams-Gibson.
She is survived by her husband, James Henderson; daughter, Rhonda Holmes; son, Ferneiko Coleman; sisters, Demetra (Roosevelt) Stevenson, and Tracy Williams; brother, Derrick Lewis; grandchildren, Marquez, Cameron, July, and Rose; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
