Aunt Paula you are such a beautiful, wise and loving angel, and as much as we will miss you we know that the God we serve doesn’t make mistakes. Please continue to smile down on all of us and be the voice of reason when we get discouraged. I love you and will miss you dearly!

I remember Paula inviting me to go on a breast cancer walk with her. I was excited bc I knew she was a survivor.  As we began the walk, she spotted someone with an orange beanie way ahead of us. She announced "that's our target let's go"! While trying to explain that I couldn't walk that fast she took off.   Once I did catch up to her again she began talking about hiking the following weekend. I was like no I'm not going because I can't keep up with you on a flat ground I know I'm not climbing a mountain  She tried her best to convince me that it would be a small mountain and that she would be calling me around 5 a.m. to make sure I was awake.  She was completely ignoring the fact that I said I wasn't going. Needless to say I did not go. 

Whenever we went out to eat she would complain about the meal, from there being too much pulp in her orange juice to meat being too dry. Her conclusion was always, "I'll  just take it home and give it to James, he'll eat it. 🤣

Her other thing was buying stuff with the plan to return it later if she didnt like it.  I would ask, "well do you like it now"?  She would say,  "yes, but I might change my mind"🤣

May your smile and memories always be a blessing to us cousin.  May you rest in heaven Paula🙏🏾

I  cherish and hold on to the 8th St memories as we all laughed and played past bedtime.  Paula will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Our Lord and Savior has prepared a final resting place for our dear Paula. Rest on High!

Your mere presence would brighten a room. That beautiful smile , your elegance and grace, I always admired your humbleness and the way you would fuss with Juanita and how she sometimes didn’t recognize that you had just told her off until she hung up the phone or you had finished whatever you two had been doing and she was on the way home.  Of course you always done this with finesse and love. From the first time I met you I became your little sister thank you for allowing me space in that big heart of yours. This is not goodbye but “We’ll  see you later” on the other side.

Paula,
We had the best times doing 5k's and the Big Climb with you. I remember the first year we started our team and you ran the Big Climb stairs in like 15 minutes! You waited for us at the top and cheered each and every one of us as we came through the finish line. Every event we did with you, we would see your smile and hear your cheers for us at the finish line.  You were an amazing teammate and friend.

You pushed us to be the best version of ourselves by showing us your unwavering faith and love,  of our God. We've lost our friend but heaven has gained another angel. Although our hearts are sad, we take comfort that you are in no more pain and resting comfortably.

We love you . We miss you. We will never forget you.

Paula, our last hike was this year. You were determined to climb A Mountain, so that is what we did. Although it was a struggle you never gave up. That is what inspires me the most, your determination and fighting spirit.  Your presence will be truly missed. I thank God for the friendship and Sisterhood we  shared over the last 20+ years. Thank you for introducing me to the world through traveling and hiking. Your view on life and love for your family and friends encouraged me in so many ways. Now that the pain and suffering is over, I pray that you rest in peace. I will miss you forever.  Much Love Sis.

Mrs. Paula definitely lived a Fabulous Life, she always kept a smile on her face. She would always have a word of encouragement even though she was going through her battle she never let it show.   Mrs Paula, your smile, daily laughter has and will continue to be missed. 

Paula, I most definitely will miss that beautiful smile. I truly enjoyed our conversation over the years.  You touched so many lives while you were here. You fought a good fight and you finished your course now take your rest. Gone but never ever forgotten!!! Love you Paula!!!❤💞💖

Auntie Paula....I'm heart broken this day came. I'd never thought that I'd ever come to a day like this to say my good-byes. The best memory I have of us, was when I watched you and my mom do those color runs and stair climbing competition. You have showed me how strong of a black women I need to be in this world, and I appreciate that deeply. Watching how strong you have gotten through the years, I'm inspired. I'm gonna miss you dearly, and I love you forever and always❤️

Farewell to my cousin Paula. I will truly miss you! Much love to her immediate family, siblings, relatives and friends.
