Leslie Anne Tainsky, age 76, of Tempe, Arizona passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 15, 1945. Leslie graduated from New Utrecht High School then went on to receive a Bachelors from Syracuse University.
She was married to Steven Tainsky on June 25, 1967 in Queens, NY. Leslie had a career in education and taught in Warminster School District in PA and later in Frank School in the Tempe School District. She was a Member of the Red Hat Group and Circle of Friends and had a passion for travel, travelogues and decorating.
She was survived by her husband Steven Tainsky; her children Craig and Kim Tainsky, Keith and Jenny Tainsky; her grandchildren Zach Tainsky, Lindsey Tainsky, Taylor Tainsky, Dylan Tainsky and Nate Tainsky; her brother Mark Cohen and sister Arlette Perry.
A graveside service for Leslie will be held Monday, April 18, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary & Cemetery, 10940 East Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, Arizona 85248.
