Juanita Q Ruiz

Juanita Quintero Ruiz 88 years old was born January 27, 1930 and passed away surrounded by her family on October 21,2018. Her parents were Santiago and Dolores Erran Quintero, longtime residents of Gilbert, AZ. She was the eldest of 12 children and was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Jesus A. Ruiz Sr., her beautiful grandchildren Maggie Ruiz, Norbert (Bert) Ruiz Jr., Miranda Ruiz, her parents Santiago and Dolores, siblings, Dehlia Quintero, Carlos Quintero and Robert Quintero. She leaves behind 7 children, Sophie D. Morales (Ernie), Jesus A. Ruiz Jr. (Cathy), Juanita Martin (Gilbert), Norbert Ruiz (Kelly), Carolina Ruiz, Benny Ruiz, and Sonia Ruiz, as well as 23 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, sisters Lily Moreno, Mercedes Kowalski, brothers Santiago Jr, Raymundo, George, Ralph, Alfredo and Armando. Juanita was known by many as “Jenny” and by her family as Mom, Nana, and Nanita. She was a beautiful, strong, and faithful soul inside and out. Her love for her husband and children was bountiful and never ceased to amaze us and others. She will forever be in our hearts.
