Juanita Munoz Delgado

Juanita Munoz Delgado age 86, of Queen Creek, Arizona passed away on February 7, 2020. She was born in Tucson, Arizona where she met and married her beloved husband of 47 years, Louis E. Delgado. He preceded her in death by 14 years. Juanita served her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, for several years as a catechism teacher at St. Helen’s Parish in Eloy, Arizona. Her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, gardening and her new found enjoyment of advanced coloring pages. Juanita’s greatest accomplishment was being a devoted wife, mother of three, grandmother of nine, and great-grandmother of eight. Survivors include her son Richard L. Delgado (Jill), and daughters; Irene F. Lauro (David), JoAnne M. Massingill (Scott). Grandchildren are Michael Delgado (Jenny), Bill Sambrone (Amy), Emily Wilson (Rick), Breanna Lauro, Mariah Lauro, Anthony Massingill (Rebecca), Stephen Massingill (Jazmine), and Narissa Massingill. Her Grandson Michael G. Sambrone preceded her in death. Great-grandchildren include, Alyssa J. Flores, Isabella L. Delgado, Myla A. Delgado, Aubrey L. Sambrone, Ryan M. Sambrone, Jessica D. Massingill, Aiden A. Massingill, Gabriella M. Massingill.

Visitation for Juanita will be Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, Arizona 85248. Funeral service will also be held at Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery on Friday, February 14, 2020 from 10:00 to 11:30 am. A catered reception will immediately follow funeral services.
