John Martin Hern of Sun Lakes, Arizona passed away on November 24, 2013 at the age of 70. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Terri Hern, son Rick Hern and family, daughter Dena Hern Donnelly and family, sister Michael Hern, brothers Charles and Gary Hern and numerous nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws and extended family and friends. As the patriarch of the family, he will be sorely missed by all. John was a resident of Washington State for over for over 30 years before retiring in Arizona in 2011. He was an automobile dealer in the Kitsap Country area for most of those years. His love of bird hunting, community involvement, golf and a good cigar are legend. John was a great supporter of the (ADA) American Diabetes Association due to his own personal association from the age of 17. In lieu of flowers, please make your donation to the ADA. A memorial service will be planned and announced at a future date.
