Gilchrist, Joe “Gilly” 62 of Coolidge, AZ passed away surrounded by the love of family and friends on April 22, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Survived by his son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter Bill, Kristie and Victoria, brothers Doug and Gary Dale, sisters Connie, Diana and Charlotte, aunt Cora Ruth, uncles Jim and Jerry and a multitude of family and friends. Joe served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked for the Department of Corrections for over 30 years. Joe had a love for music and Harley-Davidson motorcycles. It was fitting that those were the last two things he did on this earth. He devoted his life to the Lord and flew home to be with him on Sunday. Services will be held at Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery. Viewing at 9:00, Service at 10:00, followed with Graveside service at 11:00. Address 10940 E.
