Jared Michael McDonald

Jared Michael McDonald, age 40 of Chandler, AZ was suddenly called home to be with our Lord on June 29th, 2021. Jared was born in Provo, Utah on August 15th, 1980 to George and Zoila McDonald. Jared graduated with a degree in finance from Texas State University-San Marcos. To those who knew him, Jared was always smiling and could be described as nothing short of kind, generous, and loving.

An avid reader and devoted Disney fan, Jared remained a kid at heart and was a beacon of knowledge for all things science fiction, board games, and sports. He was quick to crack a joke, and approached every person he met as if they were simply a friend he hadn’t made yet. The light he brought to the lives of those who knew him will always shine. He will be greatly missed by his friends and extended family.

Jared is preceded in death by his father, George. Jared is survived by his mother Zoila, stepfather Jeff, stepmother Diana, brother James, sister Mackenzie, brother Grant, kitty Luke, as well as his many nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Celebration of life will be held Sunday, July 11th, 2021 between 1:00PM - 5:00PM at Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery,

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jared’s honor to the ASPCA or any local humane society. Dedicated to protecting and caring for animals all across the nation, the ASPCA’s efforts allow for Jared’s love for animals and generous spirit to live on indefinitely.
