

Henry Allen Covington, 76, recently of Chandler, Arizona, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2012. Henry (Hank) was respected and admired for his faith, integrity, devotion to family, and sense of humor. Born in Robertson County, TN on October 20, 1935, he grew up and lived in White House, TN, then The Villages, FL. After moving to Arizona, he lived in the Sunbird Community, where one of his favorite pastime was shooting pool. He was a proud veteran of the Army, serving two years active duty and two years in the Reserves, and was actively involved in his church. Henry leaves behind his devoted wife of 46 years, Patsy Gentry, loving sons David (Jeannine) and James (John), and his most beloved grandsons Will and Sean. He is also survived by brothers Kenneth (Barbara), Charlie, Jerry, and sister Carol Faye Thompson, all of TN. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 3 at 3 p.m. at Valley of the Sun Mortuary Chapel in Chandler. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Veterans Administration Carl T.
