Helen Jean Kearney

Helen Jean Kearney, known by family and friends as Jean, passed away at home on January 26, 2021 in San Tan Valley, Arizona. Jean was born at home in Haddon Heights, New Jersey to parents Edward and Josephine Murray on April 14, 1928. She would marry Robert Wallace Kearney in Elkton, Maryland on November 9, 1957. Together they would travel during Robert’s service in the Military. They would retire in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1984. Robert had passed away in 2011, following which Jean moved to Wyoming to leave with their son Ed. In 2014 they would move to San Tan Valley, Arizona. Jean’s favorite things in life were a great party, music and dancing. She loved rock and roll and to play the slot machines. Jean became a friend to everyone she met. Jean is proceeded in death by her beloved husband; Robert, her parents, Edward and Josephine, and her sister; Miriam. She is survived by Son Ed (Rosie), four Grandchildren; Eddie, Dana, Melodie, and Mark, seven Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Services will be held privately at Valley of the Sun Mortuary in Chandler, Arizona. Jean will be laid to rest with her Husband at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree, Massachusetts.
