Gary M. Johnson

Gary M. Johnson, 68, of Chandler, AZ passed away Thursday, June 6th. He was born in Hobbs, NM to Marvin and Jewel Johnson and lived in Idaho, California, Colorado, Arizona, Hong Kong and Texas. He was a graduate of the University of Colorado. He resided in Arizona for 35 years. He worked in engineering and executive capacities for Motorola for 30 years before retiring in 1997. For the last 4 years, he was a realtor with United Brokers Group. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He will always be remembered for his humor, intellect and compassionate heart for others. He is survived by long time girlfriend, Deborah Hill, and her son Airman Brennan Hill. Son Terry Johnson of Austin, TX, wife Lonnie and granddaughter Riley. Son Timothy Johnson of Allenspark, CO and grandsons Wyatt and Garrett. Daughter Erika King of Gilbert, AZ. Daughter Genna Roehrich of Phoenix, AZ, husband Brian and granddaughter, Madison. Mother Jewel Johnson of Grass Valley, CA. Brother Dale Johnson of Grass Valley, CA, niece and nephew. Sister Judy Giessler of Nevada City, CA and nephew. Brother Joseph Johnson of Citrus Heights, CA and nieces and nephew. Mother of his four children, Sharon Johnson of Gilbert, AZ.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 15th at 11am at Valley of the Sun Mortuary in Chandler, AZ.
