She was the youngest daughter of John and Lynn Krusemark. Clarissa is survived by her parents, John and Lynn Krusemark, her maternal grandfather, George W. Koch of Scottsdale, AZ, plus four older siblings: Christopher Krusemark of Seattle, WA, Kenneth Krusemark of Chandler, AZ, Cameron Krusemark of Seattle, WA, Cassandra Kauwe (Krusemark) of Mesa, AZ, her brother-in-law, Isaac Kauwe of Mesa, AZ and her endless love for her niece, Harper Kauwe and her nephew, baby Miles Kauwe.
Clarissa loved Life. She valued Family and we wanted to include her extended family as they were important to her. She will be sorely missed by her entire family and many friends, and co-workers.
She was special in everyone's life she touched, to include two special young men: Jon Jaurigui, and Jacob Alvarez.
Clarissa enjoyed Music, Art, and TV, did I mention MAKE-UP – (smiles…)
Travelling in the US and abroad, she roamed around Europe one Summer with her best friend, Priya Misra and Priya’s sister, Kim Misra.
Her fondness for felines began with her beloved Daisy Mae who crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge a few years ago. Her siblings each were raised with a cat of their own. Clarissa loved them all.
She had much empathy for Geriatrics and considered her most recent employer, Pennington Gardens Assisted Living to be her "home away from home".
She graduated in 2013 from Marco de Niza High in Tempe, AZ. Clarissa graduated from ASU with her Bachelors Degree in 2018. Her field of study placed focus on her passion for life – her artwork. Clarissa’s art varied, from computer graphics to hand drawn sketching. She worked with a variety of mediums, including water colors, acrylics, and old comic books, etc.
She enjoyed Marketing and Social Media, designing web pages for UHAUL as an intern her senior year at ASU.
The sudden shock of losing her has devastated us all.
She will be held in our hearts for her loving, caring, feisty, outgoing, “state your case” personality.
Her special name for her mama was Madre. Mama’s pet name for Clarissa was “Little Miss Stitch”.
Please join us in her Celebration of Life. Thank you all for attending her Funeral Services today.
