Born in Birmingham, AL to Eulas and Irene Barnes. Carolyn’s passion was being the best mom and grandma/Baba her family could ask for. Carolyn touched the lives of everyone she met. Truly a beautiful soul, she was loving, kind, and caring. Genuinely, one of the kindest people you could ever meet. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Carolyn is survived by her children, her son Douglas, and his wife Jane, her daughter Judith, and her husband Thomas. As well as her three grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Benjamin, and Samuel.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 24th at 1pm at Valley of the Sun Mortuary,
10940 E Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ 85248.
