Carol Lee Gurule

Carol is survived by her husband of 31 years, Raymond Gurule; daughters, Barbara Newton (James) and Tara Turk (Corey); her son, Michael Gustafson (Janette); and her grandchildren, Mathew Gustafson, Gregory Newton, Melissa Newton, C.J. Turk, Nicholas Newton, Seth Turk, Stefan Gustafson, Brock Turk and Starr Turk. She is preceded in death by her first husband of 29 years, Robert Gustafson.

Carol graduated valedictorian from her High School. She was a member of the Rock & Gem Club and Square Dancing Club. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, baking and scrapbooking and was a NASA enthusiast. Carol loved card games, and in fact, was very cut-throat when it came to them. A true homemaker, she was everyone’s favorite party hostess and holiday decorator. Carol will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
