His family and friends knew him as a generous, outspoken, and intellectual soul. He gave people he met and loved nicknames (Patsy, Brettski, Boobala to name a few).
Brad was known for his love of family, history, cigars, fine wine, and good food.
He proudly graduated from the University of North Dakota. There, he met his wife, Patti.
Moving to the bitter cold, Patti and Brad started a family and different business endeavors.

Brad will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 41 years, Patti, and his children Brandi (Jason) and Brett (Janelle). His grandchildren will live out his legacy: Raif, Dylan, Colton, and Juliet. Brad will also be fondly remembered by his father Ben Silverman and his sister Helene Belisle (Michael). Brad was predeceased by his mother Pauline Silverman.
