Betty E. (Martz) Swigart, age 88, of Tempe, Arizona passed away Sunday morning, February 1, 2015. She was born November 15, 1926 in Rockford, Ohio to Earl Spry Martz and Anna Francis Ailes. On June 1, 1946 Betty married Ernest O. Swigart, son of Charles R. Swigart and Mary Etta Cummings.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband Ernest O. Swigart in 2002, her sister Lilia J. Kleimeier in 1990 and her brother SSgt Paul F. Martz killed 1944 in Germany.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald E. Swigart GySgt USMC (ret), James E. Swigart Lt Col USAF (ret) and one daughter Beverly A. Lonchar; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
She will be buried next to her parents at Willow View Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio.
