Betty Ricciardi, 86, of Sun Lakes, AZ, passed away on August 12, 2012 in Gilbert, AZ.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Steven’s Catholic Church, 24827 South Dobson Rd, Sun Lakes, AZ 85248 on August 18, 2012 at 11:30 am by Father John Cunningham. Betty was born in Greenwich, CT to William and Francis Sprague on January 23, 1926. She graduated from Greenwich High School in 1944. She enjoyed movies, reading and spending time with her family. She was also accomplished in Sign Language. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, William and Francis Sprague; two brothers, George Sprague and Tommy Sprague; and a sister Gene Sprague Goldstein. Betty is survived by her brother Frank Sprague; husband William Ricciardi; daughters Suzanne Caves and Betty Ann Spadaro; son Alfred Ricciardi; four grandchildren, Tara Boocheck, Robert Boocheck, Anthony Spadaro and William Spadaro; and one great grandson, Max Boocheck. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Betty’s name to St. Steven’s Catholic Church.
