Barbara Ann Neumann, age 90, of Tempe, AZ passed away on April 24, 2018. Barbara was born November 5, 1927 in Des Plaines, IL to Herbert and Madelyn (Reiter) Behrel. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard, and George, her husband of 48 years. Barbara is survived by her 5 children, Susan, Cathy (Mark Ellis), Linda (David Wright), John, and Richard (Veronica). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Barbara graduated from Maine Township High School in 1945. She moved to Tempe, AZ with her husband and children in 1979. A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Desert Palm United Church of Christ, 1230 E. Guadalupe Rd., Tempe, AZ 85283. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Desert Palm United Church of Christ or Hospice of the Valley.
