She was born October 17, 1921 near Williamson, and was the daughter of the late Stanley (Ruth Ommert) Seylar.
She married Charles (BIM) Sweigert May 13, 1945. She was a long time member of the U.C.C. and attended the St. Thomas Lutheran Church. Mildred worked for Stanley Manufacturing Co. as a machine operator for 40 years, retiring in 1982. She loved to go on bus trips, do embroidery, word puzzles and spend time with her family.
Surviving is her son, Roger L. (Sheila) Sweigert of Hagerstown, MD: grandchildren: Brian Seville (friend Tammy) of Chambersburg, Kelly Kuhn (Stefan) of Fayetteville, Jason and Jeremy Sweigert of Hagerstown Md.; great grandchildren, Ethan, Alexis, Jacob and Reagynn: sister, Grace Gearhart of Shady Grove, brother Ralph Seylar of Chambersburg and many nieces and nephews.
She was the last surviving member of the St. Thomas High School class of 1940.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 55 years, Charles who passed away in 2000; two grandsons, Ronald Seville and Chad Sweigert, her daughter, Carol Jean Seville and her husband, John: brothers, Jay, Robert and John Seylar and sister Rosaline S. Byers.

Services will be Saturday, June 16, 2018, at 11 am with a visitation 1 hour prior at Robert L Hendricks at Parklawns Memorial Gardens.
