Walter R. Cantrell Sr., passed away on October 13, 2022 at the age of 86. He was the loving husband to Rose M. Cantrell for 59 years. Proud father of the late Vicki Gutierrez (Leon), Connie Spencer (Stacy), Walter R. Cantrell Jr., and Kevin Cantrell (April); bonus father to the late Ronald J. Kramer Jr., and Belinda Ruiz (Troy). Caring brother of 4 sisters and 2 brothers; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Walter was retired from Exxon Mobil. He was an altar boy growing up in church. Walter enjoyed playing cards and hang with family and friends. His greatest joy was spending time with his beautiful wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed by us all.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL GARDENS.
