Stephanie Schwander LeBouef

Stephanie Schwander LeBouef, at the age of 63, entered her new adventure into Heaven on Friday, March 17, 2023. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 45 years Clifford LeBouef Sr.; loving mother of Clifford LeBouef Jr. (late Sandy Pelas), and Falyn Dudenhefer (Chad). She was a proud Mawmaw of Chad Dudenhefer Jr., Cruz Dudenhefer and Olivia Pelas. Daughter of the late Wilbur and Peggy Schwander Sr. Also survived by her loving stepmother Mary Ann Andel. Daughter-in-Iaw of Jean LeBouef and the late Lindy LeBouef. Loving sister of Pamela Hougland (Rex), Wilbur Schwander Jr. (Sharon), and William Schwander. Stepsister of Lloyd Andel III, and Christine Minor (Steve). Sister-in-law of Lorne LeBouef (Sherri) and the late Bridget Pentney. Godmother of Shannon Mixon and Tabi Wesley and a host of nieces and nephews, family members and friends. She had been employed with the St. Bernard Parish School Board for the last 15 years. Stephanie enjoyed spending her time traveling all over, watching her boys playing ball and also loved spending time with her granddaughter on the weekends. Her most all-time favorite thing to do, when she wasn’t with her grandkids, was hitting those penny machines with Big Daddy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue Street, in Chalmette, from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A funeral service will begin in her memory at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery, on Bayou Road.
