Shelia LeBlanc Miller passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022 at the age of 74. Loving wife to George Miller Jr. Caring sister to Janice Airhart (Stephen) and Amanda LeBlanc Roussel (Terry); godmother to Todd Tarifa. Loving aunt to many nieces, nephews and cousins. Proceeded in death by her parents, Leah Polkey and Ernest LeBlanc.
Shelia was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and a long term resident of Chalmette, LA. She was a Pharmacist Assistant for many years. She was a member of the Old 9th Ward Gang and Aphrodite Carnival Club. She will always be remembered for her love for her family and friends. She will be missed by us all.
The family would like to thank Pontchartrain Health Care Center and especially Marcus and Patti for caring for Shelia while in their care.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in St. Vincent De Paul Cemetery, 1401 Louisa Street, New Orleans, LA 70117.
