Shannon Devine-Ellis passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, unexpectedly at the age of 42. She was a native of St. Bernard Parish, a long-time resident of Plaquemines Parish, residing in Belle Chasse. Mrs. Devine-Ellis was the wife of Donald Ellis; daughter of Eileen and Ervin Devine; devoted mother of Karlee Treigle (Jonathan); grandmother of Silas Ardoin; and only sister of Scott Devine (Beth). She is preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Pauline Devine and Walter and Shirley Schroth. She is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and godchildren. She was loved by many and a friend to all. She will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, December 21, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm. A Memorial Service will begin at 5:00 pm in the Chapel.
