Randall Michael Paisant

Randall M. Paisant, 73, of Chalmette, LA, passed away on March 6, 2022. Randall is survived by his children, Karen M. Paisant and Laura A. Paisant (Timothy); granddaughter, Emma M. Paisant-Pierson; as well as nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Randall is preceded in death by the late Oren G. Paisant, Sr., Emma G. Paisant, Oren G. Paisant, Jr., and Barbara R. Paisant.

Randall was born in New Orleans to Emma and Oren Paisant, Sr. on October 8, 1948. He attended St. Claude Heights, Chalmette High School, and was a proud graduate of the University of New Orleans. He spent his high school and college years performing with Chalmette High School's marching band, the Stardusters Drum and Bugle Corps, and was drum major for UNO's marching band. He devoted his professional life to the State of Louisiana, working at the Crescent City Connection for more than 35 years. Randall was a diehard New York Yankees fan - idolizing Mickey Mantle in his childhood, and was fortunate to attend games at both Yankee Stadiums. More than anything else, he loved traveling with his girls. Their favorite destinations were the Disney Parks where Randall's inner child shone bright.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. VIRTUE STREET, in Chalmette, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. A funeral mass will be held in his memory at 11:00 AM. He will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
