Peggy B. Gallo

Peggy B. Gallo passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of the late Harold W. Gallo Sr. Loving mother of Carole G. Mahoney (Randall), Harold W. Gallo Jr. (Denise) and Darryl J. Gallo (Wendy). Daughter of the late Lawrence V. Bachemin Sr. and Emelda R. Bachemin Peyroux. Sister of the late Judy B. Polit, Henry “Toots” Bachemin, Lawrence V. Bachemin Jr. and Barry A. Bachemin. Proud grandmother of Darryl Jr., Harold III, Drew, Jonathan, Riley, Presley, Addison and Elin.

Peggy was born on April 12, 1946 in New Orleans, LA and was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish before settling in Covington, LA. She enjoyed going out to eat, painting and playing cards. Peggy cherished spending time with her family and taught us the importance of family bonds and loyal friends. She will be deeply missed by her family and by all those whose lives she touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
